Who is Aykut BAKAY?
My name is Aykut Bakay. I am 45 years old and have 25 years of experience in the hotel and restaurant business and administration. Currently, I am the Manager of Cistern Restaurant (Sarnıç Restaurant) which is part of the Turkish Touring and Automobile Association Touristic Establishment in Sultanahmet Square. I have been working with this company for seven years and of which there are four hotels and five restaurants with a total of 300 employees. Throughout my career in the restaurant and hotel industry I have managed two hotels and one restaurant with the Turkish Touring and Automobile Association Touristic Establishment.

Additionally, I have opened three, new, four star hotels from the structure and have worked in the Sultanahmet Area for many years. I also was the front office manager of the five star hotel-Polat Renaisance for four years.
I would prove myself worthy enough to the company to be eligible for professional growth. My performance and ambition to succeed in a team environment are the key factors in determining eligibility for further opportunity in the hotel industry. My goal is to work in a five star hotel to further my knowledge, and to experience working in a larger operation with international platforms.
